USACE Suspends Ban on Irrigation from Corps Lakes
News outlets are quoting Congressman Collins as saying the USACE reversed its policy on banning withdrawal of water from USACE lakes for irrigation. According to the USACE, the policy has been temporarily suspended.
Snow & Ice Have Closed Roads in North Georgia
Georgia DOT crews are treating several state routes in the region with a salt and gravel mixture. The weather has also caused some roads in the region to be closed “until the winter event is over.”
