The 2016 Lake Lanier Duck Fest & Rubber Duck Derby

Rubber Duck Derby & Duck Fest ~ May 14, 2016

Duck Fest and the 18th Annual Rubber Duck Derby paddle their way to the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue at Clarks Bridge Park on Saturday, May 14, 2016.

This fun for the family event is sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County and it benefits more than 5,000 local children.  Proceeds fund after-school sports, summer programs, and training in healthy lifestyles, good character and a better chance for a great future.

Duck Fest keeps everyone happy until the Rubber Duck Derby starts at 2:30 PM.  The festivities begin at 11 with live entertainment, bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo and food trucks to whet appetites all afternoon long.

More than 21,000 rubber ducks — sporting fashionable sunglasses — will be dunked into Lanier, temporarily.  You can adopt as many as you’d like for a small fee.  We suggest the 25 Ducks for 100 Bucks option.

The rubber ducks (almost) race to the finish line where fortunate folks will collect fabulous prizes if their ducks win!

Have a great time for a great cause: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County.
