July 4th 2019 Margaritaville at Lanier Islands Fireworks

There are dozens of choice spots to watch the rockets’ red glare and bombs bursting in air around North Georgia on Independence Day. The best place of all? Fireworks at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands for the 4th of July 2019!

Lanier Islands is the crown jewel of Lake Lanier, America’s Greatest Lake. We have 1,500 acres of beauty to gawk at, walk around and play golf upon. Remember: Golf is easy. Just hit a little ball into a hole 18 times. It’s simple!

If that doesn’t float your boat, opt between a relaxing time at the beach or a volleyball contest to determine The Ultimate Rulers of the Whole Dang Universe!

If you’re still unconvinced, try the water park, horseback riding, eating and/or dining, watching movies on the biggest screen this side of Spock’s home planet of Vulcan, and waterskiing or boating around Lanier.

What makes the Fourth of July special at Lanier Islands?

A year-round haven for boaters and fun-seekers alike, Georgia’s Lanier Islands gives Atlantans plenty of reasons to come ashore for this year’s long Fourth of July weekend.

Between special resort stay packages, a wide stretch of white sand beach, more than a dozen water attractions, amazing food at several restaurants onsite and a jam-packed lineup of events at both Margaritaville at Lanier Islands® and the award-winning Legacy Lodge, the lakeside destination makes it easy for guests to celebrate their nation’s independence all weekend long.

The fun kicks off Wednesday, July 3 and runs through Sunday, July 7 [with] three nights of fireworks lighting up the skies over Lake Lanier.

You probably aren’t tough enough to do it all, but you can try!
