Christmas on Green Street, December 6, 2015

Christmas on Green Street is a charming way to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season on one of the prettiest Southern avenues anywhere.  The Hall County Historical Society cordially invites you to attend on Sunday, December 6, 2015, beginning shortly after 4 PM, when Green Street closes to normal traffic.

The festivities include the rare chance to look around inside the magnificent mansions with folks from the Gainesville Newcomers Club wearing Victorian costumes telling short and tall tales about the homes.

Only Scarlett O’Hara could make Christmas on Green Street any more beautiful.

Somewhere around 4:30, the antique car parade will make you wish you were born rich, instead of merely smart and good looking.
