In a world where “public relations” managers rarely relate to the public, Stacey Dickson (known to some as “The Queen of Lake Lanier”) and her crew at the Lake Lanier Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) are exceptionally adept at organizing and attending large and small events. The workshop will feature hospitality and tourism entrepreneur and event planner Jeff Mills of Mills Marketing Group, and his presentation “How to Plan a Family Reunion from A to Z.”
Jeff Mills has been active in the hospitality and tourism industry for many years and continues to utilize his creativity by developing Mills Marketing Group. Having been vice president of sales at Atlanta’s DeKalb Convention & Visitors Bureau, Mills expanded his vision to help others and created his own company. Jeff has conducted several reunion workshops in communities around the southeast to engage CVBs with reunion planners and build even stronger links to this growing market.
You’ll also be able to pick up a few tips from Stacey when she shares vital information on how the Lake Lanier CVB can assist in the planning of a reunion. She can direct you to the perfect hotels, event facilities and other vendors, to be sure your event runs smoothly and peacefully, with the fewest number of food fights and arrests possible.
