Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s “Hackers Holiday”

Hackers?  To many of us they’re bandits who break into computers and steal our identities or smokers coughing out a lung next to us in line at Wally World.

“Hackers” is also a term used for people who play golf like you and me.

(The only way we could miss that picture window would be to try to hit it.)

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is an inclusive group.  So much so, they’re inviting everyone who can hold a golf club (or artfully kick a golf ball, like the rest of us) to their Hackers Holiday on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Legacy on Lanier Golf Club.

The Hacker’s Holiday is the Chamber’s 33rd Annual Golf Tournament.  They say “scratch” golfers are also welcome.  Evidently, you know who you are.  Here’s some more golfer lingo for you:

  • Awards will be presented in three flights with a Hole-In-One prize, along with closest to the pin, longest drive, a putting contest and much more.
  • The 19th Hole Reception, sponsored by AT&T, with delicious free food and drink follows the tournament at the clubhouse.

Come as you are!
