North Georgia Zoo & Petting Farm

First things first.  You can just forget about any of that impartial journalism nonsense in this story about the petting zoo owned by my friends.  The North Georgia Zoo & Petting Farm — also known as Wildlife Wonders — is the coolest zoo this side of Nairobi.

If your kids don’t like this place, there’s no hope for them.  None.  Really.

This WAY-cheaper-than-Disney World-fantasyland is down a windy road off of Route 129, not far from the White County High School, just north of Cleveland, Georgia.

No matter how many times the kids say, “Are we there yet?” the drive is worth it.

Here’s more good news: if your chauffeur calls in sick and you have forgotten how to drive the Rolls all by yourself, Wildlife Wonders will bring the zoo to you.  Yup.  Honest.

Here’s a tip you won’t read on any website: Pick up a new air freshener for the ride home.  Or just luxuriate in the wafting memories of your day at the farm.

Please click on the links below for all the information you’ll ever need.

Then, have a blast in the country — your kids might even learn that food doesn’t magically appear at Publix.

Please tell Hope and Tom that Robert said hello.  Thanks.
