Corps of Engineers’ Annual Park Passes

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) operates 32 day-parks in our area, including Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona.  It is wise to invest in Corps of Engineers’ Annual Park Passes.

One of the best ways for park visitors to save money is to invest in an annual pass.

You can choose to cough up $5.00 per day per vehicle to enter USACE day-use areas or simply pay $40 for the entire year.

Having the annual pass gives you the peace of mind to visit often … without worrying about spending a lot of time to make it worthwhile.

The passes are valid for 12 months and available as hanging tags, which can be used in all your vehicles, or as a sticker, for use in Jeeps, convertibles and on motorcycles.

Annual passes are good at all USACE operated day-use parks nationwide, including these local venues:

  • Lake Lanier
  • Lake Allatoona Lake
  • Carters Lake
  • West Point Lake
  • Hartwell Lake
  • Richard B. Russell Lake and
  • Thurmond Lake.

I have purchased an annual pass for my son-n-law for several years. He lives very close to the parks and we visit the parks as often as possible. The parks are gorgeous and you feel very safe. It is worth every penny to buy an annual pass. Donna.

I purchased an annual pass, but was issued a temporary password through the machine at Van Pugh North. I was unable to pick up my pass prior to the temporary password expiring, will my pass still be honored?

I have annual pass, I use kayak and sometimes I park on trailer parking is that ok or I am wrong.
Reason is that I have to carry my kayak to far if I park all the way back.

Is there a list of parks that offer the 12 month parking pass? If so what might that website link be? Thank you

Do the passes include all boat ramps on Lake Lanier. Such as Mary Alice, Charleston Park, Six Mile etc…

Does this pass work for all boat ramps at West Point Lake?

      Hi,

The USACE park pass is accepted at USACE boat ramps.

Is there an application or any other information that should be mailed for an annual boat ramp pass? Or, do I simply mail a check to the address listed above? This process is very confusing and at the ramp I use passes are required but there is no signage to indicate that or how to pay.

Does this pass allow you to drive through lake lanier islands? My parents are moving back and used to love to see the deer. Not even sure if they are still there.

    thx

      Hi,

The US Army Corps of Engineers passes don’t provide admission to Lanier Islands.

You may click on this link for information on Lanier Islands passes:
