Saturday, September 10, 2016 is going to be an extraordinary moment in time for North Georgia, thanks to the many exciting and joyous events available to us all, including the annual Mountain Music Festival at Vogel State Park.

Vogel has been a happy place for generations of folks who choose to vacation in the mountains instead basking and roasting at the beach.  The walk around Trahlyta Lake is beautiful in any season but it’s perfect when you’re serenaded by bluegrass and gospel music played by skilled musicians on the second Saturday of September.

Beautiful artists will be there to provide memorable treasures in exchange for mere money.  Snag a burger or hot dog and a cool drink and dine lakeside on a park bench, romantic swing or sturdy picnic table.  Bring a tent or camper and stay for the weekend, if it’s not sold out.

The Mountain Music Festival at Vogel State Park kicks off at 10 AM and goes all day.  The only cost is $5 to park your car nearby, plus making mama happy with a handmade trinket or three.

Give yourself a million dollar’s worth of delightful music in a heavenly setting at the Mountain Music Festival.
