The Lake Lanier Leukemia Cup Regatta sets sail on Saturday, March 12, 2016, on a course to help cure blood cancer.

According to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) website:

LLS the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma.  LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.

LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

Those who participate in the Leukemia Cup Regattas raise valuable funds for research into finding cures for blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Sailors and boaters have helped LLS invest nearly $1 billion in better cancer treatments.  Most of us have witnessed the horrors of cancer.  This is how sailors and boaters fight back.

The Leukemia Cup Regatta will be hosted by the Lake Lanier Sailing Club in Flowery Branch.
