Clermont is a sleepy little town most of the year, tucked safely in the foothills in North Georgia.
Once a year, however, Clermont transforms into a fall festival wonderland for Clermont Days!
Friday afternoon, September 20, 2013, the Clermont Days Centennial Celebration kicks off at 4 PM with Arts & Crafts and delicious food.
Everything wraps up Saturday night with fireworks!
In between, there’s a Southern Sweet & Treats Lions Club 5K race at 7:45 AM, horseshoes at 10, the 1900s-themed Parade at 1 PM and the car show starts at 2 PM.

If the excitement is too much for you, hop in the car and head south for a few miles down Clarks Bridge Road to Don Carter State Park, which officially opened on Monday.
Swim on the newest beach in Georgia, have a picnic, go camping/fishing/strolling and spend the night, if you’d like right on Lake Lanier.
Admission is only $5 per car at Don Carter State Park. That’s the bargain of the century.
