LanierWorld’s 2017 Red, White & Blue 4th of July

Light up your life … as they light up the skies at LanierWorld’s 2017 Red, White & Blue 4th of July at Lanier Islands.  Four straight nights of fireworks ending on Tuesday with the best display of pyrotechnic magnificence you could ever imagine!

I love the way our friends at Lanier Islands put it: “It’s gonna be LIT!”  That’s the truth.

The fireworks are only a part of all that’s happening.  Sing along with great bands playing your favorite songs while you lounge in the sun at the beach or romp in Lake Lanier.

If that sounds like too much work, take it easy and watch a movie on the five-story-tall Spectacular Screen.  It’s just down the beach a piece, near plenty of options for delicious food, good vibrations and cool drinks to quench your thirst.

This is what Lanier Islands’ Chairman of the Board Virgil Williams has to say:

“Regardless of the holiday, we’re fiercely patriotic at Lanier Islands 365 days a year – as are many of our guests.  And we don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk.

For the third year in a row, we are proud to extend free LanierWorld admission to active duty military members, police officers, fire fighters and first responders.  [For individuals with proper credentials.]

The Fourth of July represents a time for us to come together as Americans in celebration of the liberties we are afforded in this country.  It’s also a great opportunity to enjoy some terrific music, relax on the beach, take in beautiful views of the lake, brave over a dozen waterslides and attractions, watch a dazzling fireworks display, partake of some well-deserved fun in the sun, and make memories with friends and loved ones.”

Stop by on Friday, June 30, 2017, for an authentic beachside low country boil.  You’ll need the energy to endure four days of outrageous fun that lasts until after dark on Tuesday, July 4th!
