Forget the nonsense that summer is over.  Not at Lanier Islands.  It’s time for the first-ever Tailgates & Touchdowns festivities from the 3rd through the 5th.

Zaxby’s and Georgia’s Own Credit Union are putting on a show for you!  Come hang out and enjoy the music of Frankie Ballard performing live.

The evening ends with the only things that could possible make it any better: a fireworks show over gorgeous Lake Lanier.

Too wild for your tastes?  Relax in the Wave Pool (until the Big Ones come rolling in!) and watch Finding Nemo  with your friends Saturday night at the Dive-In Movies.

LanierWorld will be open on Saturday and Sunday too.  Water slides, the beach, the inflatable bouncy-thingys and fun in the sun … while it lasts … on the shores of Lake Lanier at Lanier Islands!

Here’s a money-saving tip.  On October 1, 2015, the “parking fee” — what you pay to drive into Lanier Islands — goes up from $10 to $15.  During September, you can buy a 364-day pass for a mere $50.  That’s a savings of $5,410, if you go daily.

Don’t let summer get away without a getaway at Lanier Islands!
