Memorial Day for 2015 takes place on Monday, May 25th. That’s weirdly early, because the last day of May is Sunday the 30th. So … the Memorial Day Weekend begins on Friday, May 22nd at Lake Lanier Islands, near Buford, Georgia on spectacular Lake Lanier.
The long Memorial Day Weekend starts off on Friday with live music at LanierWorld from 1-5 PM, while Bryan Martin performs at the Sunset Cove stage from 3 until 7 PM.

Things heat up at Lanier Islands on Saturday with the Memorial Day Summer Kick-Off Beach Party hosted by Rock 100.
Hang out at the beach, play on the water slides, sip a cool one under an umbrella or play volleyball to begin summer the way it deserves: with a party!
Sunday at Lanier Islands will be like being at the Islands, man! OK. So, it’s a bit short on palm trees and calypso dancers. Not a problem, man.
There’s live music all day and into the night at LanierWorld!

Take a look at this line-up:
- Rhett Sypher plays at Gianni’s from 1-5 followed by Eric Jennings from 5-9 PM.
- Stop by Sunset Cove for the Old New Acoustic Revue from 4-7 pm.
- Sunset Cove lights up the lake with spectacular fireworks when the sun sets on Sunday!
But, wait! There’s more! And you won’t have to pay extra for shipping and handling!
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, spend your day off relaxing at the Big Beach, the Family Fun Park or at Sunset Cove, where Johnny Summers plays summer tunes from 2 until 6 PM.

Nothing else even comes close to the exciting times planned for you by Lanier Islands this Memorial Day Weekend! Remember, it starts early this year … on Friday, May 22nd.
Have you tried the new Aquatic Adventure? Only the strong survive.
Sound like too much fun for you? Don’t worry. Come to Lanier Islands and you can ride a horse, rent a boat, sit under a tree, play a round of golf, have a fabulous meal, go swimming, take a walk or just sit and try to find duckies in the clouds. With all the rest of us.
