When you think of business meetings, you might imagine boring managers (who don’t have a clue about what’s really happening at the company) droning on about TPS Reports.
Forget that.
The 2015 Lake Lanier Association Annual Meeting, scheduled for Saturday, April 18th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM, will be more like doing business under palm trees with a warm breeze, good food, dancy music and laughter. With a dash of business thrown in … and an invitation to join hands with the folks who are also serious about the business of keeping Lake Lanier Clean, Safe and Full.
Our friends at Port Royale Marina have graciously dedicated their Pelican Pete’s on the water restaurant space solely to this Lake Lanier Association event!
Don’t waste time trying to find the most hidden cubicle or wasted conference room. Look for the big tiki hut. That’s where the activity takes place.
Meterologist Ken Cook will be the keynote speaker. The meeting agenda offers updates on the programs and services undertaken by the Lake Lanier Association.
The Lanier Crappie Anglers Club will host a fish fry as heavy hors d’oeuvres and the Lake Lanier Association will be serving complimentary iced tea, lemonade, and bottled water.
Be sure to get there by 4:30 PM to get a door prize ticket. The full service bar will be open at Pelican Pete’s for you to purchase adult beverages on a cash basis.
There is no charge for current Lake Lanier Association members to attend this event. Non-members are welcome to attend and encouraged to join the LLA at the meeting. After the meeting ends at 6:00 PM, you are welcome to stay at Pelican Pete’s and enjoy live music.
This is one business meeting that you do not want to miss.
