Lake Lanier Association Seeks Meeting Input

Our friends at the Lake Lanier Association (LLA) — a helpful non-profit group that seeks to preserve and protect Lake Lanier for everyone — would like feedback about their annual membership meeting.

LLA has historically held its annual meeting on a weekday evening during May or June at a location suitable for indoor events.  To be flexible, LLA has held meetings in Gainesville, Cumming and Dawsonville over the past few years.  Last year, for example, the meeting was held on the campus of what was then known as Gainesville College.

As Abraham Lincoln wisely said, “No matter what you do, somebody will always whine about not getting their way.”  With that in mind, your thoughts are valuable to LLA.  You’re welcome to give your input on such questions as:

  • Would you prefer an indoor more formal environment or an outdoor location that is more casual?
  • LLA is planning a June meeting.  Would another month be better?
  • Weekday or weekend meeting?
  • Morning, afternoon or evening meeting?
  • Aside from the mandatory business items that must be covered at the annual meeting, what other topics, presentations or speakers would you be interested in including?

Thanks for helping make this year’s annual meeting the best yet.
