CNN.com reported on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, that the family of Kile Glover is asking for prayer for his recovery.
Kile Glover is an 11-year-old boy — reported to be the stepson of R&B singer Usher Raymond — who was seriously hurt when a Jet Ski driven by Jeffrey Hubbard, a 38-year-old friend of the family, struck the inner-tube Kile was on while tubing on Lake Lanier. GA’s DNR says alcohol was not a factor in the wreck.
Kile was not responsive when pulled from the water. He suffered a serious head injury and was air-lifted by helicopter to Egleston’s Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
CNN.com says it received this message from the family of the young boy:
“We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.”
