3 Goals of the Lake Lanier Association

The Lake Lanier Association (LLA) stays true to its primary goals: keeping Lake Lanier

  1. Clean
  2. Full and
  3. Safe.

What I like most about LLA is how they successfully work with various local, state and federal agencies to keep Lanier clean, full and safe.

They’re guardians of Lake Lanier who invest time and money to reach their goals of keeping Lake Lanier clean, full and safe.

The Lake Lanier Association is more than just a bunch of angry whiners who spend 90% of their time finding problems and 10% of their time fighting over who should correct them.

LLA actually MAKES improvements on Lake Lanier.  Take their solar-powered navigation lights, for example:

Our solar light project, initiated last year, has been continued by placing 50 additional lights on water hazards in the first half of 2014.  We plan for approximately 50 more light installations the remainder of the year.  This program will continue for the next several years, with ultimately 300 to 500 lights installed.  The LLA is prepared to monitor and maintain the lights into the future.

This non-profit group would like you to join, give and be active in their organization.

You don’t have to own a gargantuan houseboat or live in a mansion on the lake.  If you are concerned about keeping Lake Lanier clean, full and/or safe … join the Lake Lanier Association in their boring but vital pursuit of a clean, full and safe lake.
