Gwinnett Stripers Take the Field on Thursday, April 4th

No, the team doesn’t pay me to write about them. We only promote them because it’s pure fun to go to the ballpark. Watch the Gwinnett Stripers take the field on Thursday, April 4th for the Opening Day of the 2019 season.

We all have friends who were given dumb names by their parents. It’s not their fault. You have to overlook some things in life. Like naming a baseball team after a fish. It’s still baseball in a terrific park with convenient parking and access to interstates.

Don’t forget, the English translation of one of the world’s most famous singers is “July Church.” Ever heard of Cary Grant? His real name is Archibald Leach. Let’s be glad our team isn’t the Gwinnett Leaches.

Bring your kids, your neighbors or just yourself to enjoy a place where you can root for the home team, down a hot dog and scoot home afterwards.

Speaking of dogs, bring your very best friend along with you on Wet Nose Wednesdays!

Join the Stripers for a New Orleans Mardi Gras themed night on April 5! Upgrade your experience by adding on a classic Southern Crawfish Boil pregame. Stick around after the game for spectacular fireworks.

The Gwinnett Stripers. Funny name. Great baseball!
