2016 ACRA Championship Regatta on Lake Lanier

The Lake Lanier Olympic Venue is dormant no more!  Just one week after hosting the Pan-American Championships, the American Collegiate Rowing Association brings the 2016 ACRA Championship Regatta to Lake Lanier.

The ninth ACRA Championship Regatta will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29, 2016.  The Lake Lanier Rowing Club (LLRC) is the local organizing committee.

All participants are full-time undergraduate students and enrolled at the institutions they represent.

Time Trials, Heats and Repechages will be raced on Saturday.

Finals are scheduled for Sunday, except in the larger fields which require four races.  In those cases the Semifinals and Finals will take place on Sunday.

First, second, and third place medals will be awarded in all ACRA events with four or more entries.  Events with only three entries will have medals for first and second place finishes.

About 30-minutes after the conclusion of racing on Saturday, everyone — including team members, alumni, and parents — will be welcomed at the main regatta ceremony.

Parking is $10 per day and is available for spectators on the tower side of Clarks Bridge Park, on grassy areas in front of the boathouse and in the overflow lot north of the boathouse.  Look for parking attendants.
