On August 23, 2013, the Lake Lanier Association (LLA) held a press conference to announce the establishment of 20 navigational solar lights around the lake.

We heard of the goals for future solar lights and about the impressive level of cooperation among groups and organizations that care for Lanier.

The first year of this project has been a remarkable success.  Now it’s time for the Lake Lanier Association to provide a “summary report for the Corps of Engineers on where [they] stand with that initiative” to install hazard markers around the lake.

LLA would like to include community feedback indicating how lake stakeholders view this project.  They would sincerely appreciation your comments, suggestions and input regarding this innovative solar light project.

If you know other people who might have helpful thoughts about the solar lights, please ask them to offer their ideas too.
