The striper fishing has been great the last two weeks on Lake Lanier.
Our boats have been catching many stripers and big spots on bluebacks out over the main channel, on secondary points and in the very backs of creeks.
Mornings and afternoons have both been very productive. Some days the stripers have been up boiling on the surface. Lead-head flukes have worked as well as live bait.
Overall, it has been an exciting early spring pattern the last couple of weeks and it will only get better as the water temps continue to rise.
