“We can’t wait to debut this unique, island-inspired winter wonderland at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands,” said Darby Campbell, president of Safe Harbor Development LLC.
“We’re giving new meaning to ‘chill out’ with some exciting new attractions and look forward to seeing Margaritaville at Lanier Islands become a true year-round destination.”
License to Chill Snow Island
Those looking to trade in their flip flops for snow boots this winter with a visit to License to Chill Snow Island will find a flurry of fun, with new winter-themed carnival rides, an ice-skating rink, firepit s’mores and specialty winter drinks at LandShark Landing, and a Santa Claus photo opportunity beneath the Fin Dunker. The star of the show will be an all-new snow tubing hill, the fastest in North America.
The 26th annual Magical Nights of Lights includes most of the old favorites. They’ve also added what they call “a Margaritaville twist.”
They say you’ll be “transported into the Margaritaville state of mind as [you] wind [your] way through seven miles of traditional – yet unique – holiday lights.”
License to Chill Snow Island and Magical Nights of Lights will be open from Friday, November 16, 2018, all the way through Sunday, February 24, 2019.
