A Guide to “Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia”

On one end of the Hawaiian island of Molokai, there’s a magnificent waterfall.  Actually, it’s two waterfalls, side by side.  Stunningly glorious.  At the end of the movie, Waterworld, you can see a spectacular waterfall flowing over a cliff; or, you could travel to the Big Island of Hawaii to see it in person.  Niagara Falls, where I often honeymoon, is another masterpiece — but it straddles New York and Canada.  Too far away for a day trip.

That’s why you need a copy of Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia,  with directions to more than 100 waterfalls in our neck of the woods.

You might be an accomplished hiker who knows all the words to Waltzing Matilda.  There’s even a chance you’re brave enough to sing it in public, as you search for waterfalls.

Save your strength, voice, memory and dignity.  Purchase the guide to Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia.

Our travels in Georgia have taken us to over 100 waterfalls and down countless miles of beautiful back roads.  The state is so rich in natural wonders we started this page to let others see what we are finding … our current guide … covers most of Northeast GA, along with Franklin & Highlands, NC.

Friends and I hit 25-30 waterfalls in the heaven we call North Georgia back in the 90s.  We would have visited more, if we had a guide like, Waterfalls and Back Roads of North Georgia.

Let us know which ones are your favorites.
