Our pal, Joanna Cloud of the Lake Lanier Association, is looking for artists to enter their contest to design the 2013 Shore Sweep T-shirt.

The winner will potentially receive worldwide fame and unfathomable riches (some restrictions apply).

The deadline for submissions, however, is Thursday, August 15th.

The 25th annual Shore Sweep event will take place on Saturday, September 28th.

Last year, tons of junk were removed from Lake Lanier by folks who volunteered their time to spiff up the lake.

In addition to the humongous amounts of ego boosting and adulation, the designer of the winning T-shirt design will also get a $100 prize.

Here’s the Deal

The artwork must be original.

Submissions must include the artist’s name, address, and phone number.

Submissions become the property of the Lake Lanier Association.

The design must be no larger than 8.5″ x 11″ inches (the size of standard size copy paper).

Mail or deliver submissions to:

Lake Lanier Association, 615F Oak Street, Suite 100, Gainesville, GA 30501.
