The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Buy Local Expo on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Gainesville Civic Center, 830 Green Street in Gainesville. The event highlights the many products and services available from local professionals and businesses here in Gainesville and Hall County.
More than 70 exhibitors will be on hand from 9 AM until 2 PM. For the first time, attendees may attend SAFE & GREEN which will be held in conjunction with the Expo.
Six Seminars are scheduled for the Buy Local Expo:
- Marketing to Millennials, Derrick Case, Owner of Dress Up Boutique
- Drug Free Workplace, Chuck Wade, President and CEO of The Council on Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation Efficiency, Randall Powers, Managing Partner of The Powers Company
- Sustainability, Rudi Kiefer, Professor of Physical Science and Director of Sustainability at Brenau University
- Meeting Efficiency, Jim Kerlin, Owner of Sandler Training
- Sustainable Building Solutions, Brian Daniel, President of Carroll Daniel Construction
Limited exhibit space is still available. Exhibits include a six-foot table, a table cloth, a table skirt, two chairs and two boxed lunches. Member Exhibitors pay $200; Non-member Exhibits are $350; Non-Profits are charged $100; and, the Safe & Green Room Exhibit, $150. Electricity is available for an additional fee.
The event is open to the public, however, there is an entry fee of $10 per person.
