Chamber Hosts Update on University of North GA

UNG logoGainesville College is no more, but at least its baseball and football teams were undefeated!

North Georgia College and Gainesville College have combined into the University of North Georgia (UNG).

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce South Hall Business Coalition invites you to an update on the progress of the University of North Georgia from President Dr. Bonita Jacobs.

This public event is scheduled for 8 AM on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at University of North Georgia’s Gainesville Campus in the Continuing Education Auditorium.

President Jacobs will speak about UNG’s goals to provide pathways for students to pursue higher education in an environment that fosters their individual development and success as future leaders.

The University of North Georgia is seventh-largest institution in the University System of Georgia, since the consolidation of North Georgia College & State University and Gainesville State College.  The University of North Georgia has four campuses — Cumming, Dahlonega, Gainesville and Oconee — with a total enrollment of over 15,000.
