The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is dedicated to organizing and promoting racing activities for newbie and accomplished racers.
NASA returns to Road Atlanta the weekend of November 30 through December 2, 2012 with some of the most exciting races — and most affordable for spectators.
A mere $10 will get you a weekend pass for:
- Endurance Challenges
- Spec Miata
- American Iron and
- Thunder and Lightening Sprint races
as street-legal high-performance toys and treasures compete door to door and fender to fender.
If you’re worried that your precious little sheltered children don’t possess enough skill and wisdom drive a car in the real world — or to feed, clean or clothe themselves — sign them up for the Teenage Driving Survival School.
Oh, yeah. They might even come to dinner when you call or pretend to do their homework for a few days for a shot at this awesome driving training. (Sorry, but you’re on your own for those other life skills.)
Can’t come up with ten entire dollars to spend a weekend watching racecars whirl around Road Atlanta? Have I got a deal for you!
NASA is also sponsoring the popular 5th Annual Santa’s Toy Run that weekend. Bring a clean, new, unwrapped toy worth at least $20 and the gate admission will be … free!
NASA will make sure to give your clean, new, unwrapped toy to a child who would otherwise not get any presents.
Where else can you watch three days of intense racing for the price of a semi-random act of kindness?
No reservations needed, bring a toy and you’re in! You even get to feel good about yourself for a while. What a deal!
All gate proceeds and toys go to help such great charities as:
- Gwinnett PADV
- Gwinnett Children Shelter
- Haven House
- Speedway Children’s Charities
- Piedmont CASA
- Kid-Stuff
- Rainbow Village
- A Friends House
- VFW National Home for Children and many more.

The National Auto Sport Association was formed in 1991 to deliver high quality motorsports events to enthusiasts at major racing venues throughout the nation. NASA has created programs that allow owners of both race cars and high-performance street-driven vehicles to enjoy the full performance capabilities of their cars in a safe and controlled environment. NASA offers many different programs that will allow individuals to enjoy motorsports on a number of different levels, including our High Performance Driving Events (HPDE), Rally Sport, Time Trial, NASA-X and Competition Racing programs. NASA coined HPDE, High Performance Driving Event. NASA is the pioneer in providing a safe venue for anyone to learn to drive on the track in a safe and controlled environment.
