Cheer Up! Life Could be Worse!

Some people like pity parties, even if they’re the only ones who attend.

The best way to get over the misery of self-pity is to listen to what other people endure and survive.

Take, for example, the case of Atlanta’s Teresa Culpepper.  She was sent to jail and detained for more than 50 — Hello! Fifty! — days, before the right person said, “Ooops!” and sent Teresa free.

Big mistakes — as with great victories — always take teamwork.  There’s enough blame here to throw around for a month of Sundays, but the best lesson for us (in my humble opinion) is that no matter how bad things are going for you … it could always be worse.

With that in mind, we share with you this story from the AJC.
