Dahlonega’s Appalachian Trail Fest

Dahlonega has been selected by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy to be an official Appalachian Trail Community, due to its proximity to Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.

In recognition of this honor, Trail Fest will be held in Dahlonega during the weekend of March 16th through the 18th,  in the middle of the N0rthB0und Thru Hiker kickoff season.

Appalachian Trail films, authors, vendors and hikers will gather to share knowledge, joy and their love for the AT.  Other activities — including a 5k trail run, canoeing/kayaking, guided hikes, and local tours — are also planned.
