If Old Federal Park were the only campground on Lake Lanier, we would still be blessed.  It’s just that wonder-full.  Its setting on Lanier’s eastern shore in the Chattahoochee Bay region is picture perfect.

The 2017 season begins on Thursday, March 30th and ends on Sunday, October 22nd.

Lake Lanier’s blue waters will remind you of Lake Tahoe.  It’s cozy coves are warmer and more inviting than the Thousand Islands.  The striper fishing is legendary.  Yes, even I have caught a few!

Add in fabulous weather, friendly people and Southern hospitality and you’ll know why campers cannot wait to spend time at Old Federal.  Campers can swim at the beach, fish from shore or launch a boat for a day on the water — or so much more.  Or so much less, if you love lazy days.
