Westrec Marinas Purchases Lazy Days Marina in Buford

According to BoatingIndustry.com, Westrec Marinas has purchased Lake Lanier’s Lazy Days Marina located at 6700 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.

Lazy Days Marina dry stack boats up to 36 feet and offers wet slips up to 125 feet in length.  They have concrete docks, courtesy dock carts, professional dock hand attendants, and a full-service fuel dock.

The purchaser, Westrec Marinas, is a national marina investment company.  The seller was Aqua Marine Partners.

BoatingIndustry.com says Westrec owns Lanier’s Holiday Marina.  They also quoted Andrew Sturner’s comments about the sale:

“Lazy Days was our first inland lake marina and we’ve enjoyed great success with it over the past nine years,” Andrew Sturner, president and CEO of Aqua Marine Partners, said. “Andrew Cantor at Marcus & Millichap’s Leisure Investment Properties Group did a great job selling the property to investors so that we achieved our goal to maximize proceeds in the sale and redeploy that capital to continue to grow our marina portfolio.”

We are thankful for the many years Lazy Days Marina has served boaters on Lake Lanier and we look forward to more of the same in the future.
