Awesome Bill isn’t the only reason to hit Dawsonville on Saturday & Sunday, October 26 & 27, 2013.  It’s time for the 46th Annual Mountain Moonshine Festival!

All proceeds go to KARE for Kids, Inc., a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The Moonshine Festival isn’t about sippin’ white lightning, it’s about

  • having a swell time seeing friends
  • shopping for stuff that you can only find at the Moonshine Festival
  • eating food that will make you happy, healthy and probably wealthy
  • and tapping a toe or two to some of the best music you’ll ever hear.

The festivities kick off with a parade at 9 AM on Saturday morning, with moonshine and revenue cars leading the pack.

The popular Car Show, Cruise-In and Swap Meet will be held at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame  (formerly known as “Thunder Road USA”).

Meet legendary race car drivers, take a close-up look at vintage race cars, and ponder what it was like to drive the authentic Moonshine-Hauling cars on display.

They’re how NASCAR got its start.
