New Year’s Eve Gala at Chateau Elan

Imagine a year-long feast inside a fabulously decorated castle nestled among shimmering ponds and romantic vineyards.  That’s not a crazy fantasy.  That’s the New Year’s Eve Gala at Chateau Elan.

Reservations for the New Year’s Eve Gala at Chateau Elan are filling up quickly.  If you want to wile away 2018 and greet 2019 properly, you’d better get on the lance and not dilly-dally.

Otherwise, you’ll be saying, “Dang! Dang!” with knaves instead of “Dilly! Dilly!” with your prince or princess.

Here’s the Deal

Spend an unforgettable night at our New Year’s Eve Gala … in our exquisite Paris Ballroom.  [The] Overnight package includes at an all-inclusive celebration from 7 PM – 1 AM featuring a welcome cocktail reception with passed Hors d’oeuvres, a six-hour open bar with premium liquor and a four course sit-down dinner.

Dance the night away with live music from Rupert’s Orchestra and ring in 2019 with a champagne toast.  …  Enjoy a leisurely New Year’s Day Breakfast Buffet in Versailles the next morning.  This year’s theme is “All That Glitters” and we encourage guests to wear gold or silver.  Attire is party formal.

Dilly, Dilly indeed!

You might be more accustomed to formal par-tays in castles than us regular folks.  You could have a special closet just for “party formal” duds, high atop a hill overlooking the Little People in tiny jon boats on Lake Lanier.

For those of us who still haven’t a clue what to wear, I’d suggest polishing your best boots and put a stiff crease in your best-smelling overalls, with a brand-new gold or silver bandana sticking out of a back pocket.

This place is so fancy, order an autumnal mead instead of a cold draft.

My wife and I live in Seminole Florida, but we have camped at Lake Lanier on multiple occasions. Because we enjoyed the lake, we signed up for the newsletter. I must confess, our expectation of a newsletter from a government agency (COE) was that it would be about as enjoyable as watching old folks nap. Thank you for making us incredibly wrong. We really don’t have a great interest in the happenings at the lake. However, your writing style is so entertaining, we read every issue. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
