Nothing says “The South” as much as Waffle House, NASCAR, Southern belles, fried okra, friendly neighbors and Gold Rush Days in Dahlonega, GA, celebrated over the third full weekend each October.

Don’t hate me, but Gold Rush Days has an even better selection of food than Waffle House.  And it’s safer … with better music and fewer scary people.

You’ll see Southern belles aplenty and crafts that you just won’t find anywhere else at Gold Rush Days 2015, October 17th & 18th.

Come take a peek at the beautiful foliage all around town and celebrate the discovery of gold in Dahlonega back in 1828 at the 53rd Annual World Open Gold Panning Championship.

The Southeast Tourism Society says Gold Rush Days is (are?) one of the Top 20 Events in all the Southeast.

Y’all come see us in downtown Dahlonega on October 17-18, 2015 and you will see why!
