You’re invited to Main Street Gainesville’s Jingle Mingle on Thursday, November 21, 2013, for the lighting of The Great Chicken at 6:30 PM.

Our pals at the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating their Annual Holiday Business After Hours from 5 PM until 8-ish, but everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

Shops around the square will be open late with specials and treats for the entire family.

There will be holiday fun for all ages with:

  • Photos with Santa on the Square
  • The Christmas Kiddie Train
  • Carriage Rides
  • Open Houses
  • Pretty ladies & handsome gents
  • Food, drink and fun!

Not enough for you?  How about this:

  • Santa will arrive by fire truck!
  • The Believers Concert Band from Gainesville First United Methodist Church will perform holiday music in the Main Street Market at Sweet Magnolia’s.
  • Brian Ulrich will perform at Frames You-Nique.
  • Free Carriage Rides sponsored by Moore’s Wealth Management

The main event, obviously, is the lighting of The Great Holiday Chicken on top of the Main Street Market at 6:30 PM.

Please Note: Not planning on attending?  You’d better think twice. Officials will be taking the names of those who willfully deny their families access to this event to see who’s naughty or nice.  The list will be given to Santa before he leaves town.

So, you’d better be good for goodness’ sake, Thursday evening on Gainesville’s Square.
