There’s more to camping than sleeping near bugs.

The warm beach at Bald Ridge Creek is open for campers and day-use visitors to soak in some rays or to splash around in the water.

Outdoor recreational opportunities, like fishing, kayaking and swimming are very close by.  Kayakers, Stand-Up Paddlers and canoeists will especially enjoy this spot for their water fixes.

Virtually all campsites are on the waterfront.  Each one has a picnic table, fire ring, grill and lantern pole.

Take your pick from 82 campsites with electric and water hookups.  Some sites are accessible to everyone.  Additional conveniences in the well-maintained park include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers and a boat ramp.  Kids will have fun at the playground for campers.

Yes, they have showers.  With hot water!  So, you don’t have to wash the stink off in the lake.

Pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 6 feet in length.  Pets are not allowed in restrooms, gatehouse, playgrounds, shelters or designated swim areas.  Park gates are locked from 10:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.  Sober fun is encouraged.

Are the sites equipped with 30 amp hookup as well as 50 amp? We are coming this weekend to camp, there may be nights when we aren’t back by 1030 when the gates lock. How does that work? Thank you. Steve
