Natural Resource Manager Nick Baggett, with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Lanier, has a great deal for someone who would like to spend the summer at one of the lake’s nicest campgrounds for free.

Nick’s team is looking for volunteer hosts at Bolding Mill Campground on Lake Lanier for three to six months.

The free camping would be in exchange for 20 hours of volunteer service a week.

Campsites at Bolding Mill reserved for volunteers have full hook-ups for large motor homes, including 50-amp service, water, sewer and friendly neighbors.  All that North Georgia offers is a short drive away.

Potential hosts will be interviewed during March, with selections announced shortly thereafter.
