Our friends with the Lake Lanier Association (LLA) invite you to an event that will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Aqualand Marina from 10 AM until 3 PM.

They’ll be celebrating the beginning of National Safe Boating Week (May 16th-23rd) with lots of information and lots of fun too.

Joanna Cloud, the leader of the LLA band, says there will be an attempt to set the world record for the most life vests worn by people AND pets in one place this Saturday.

So.  When was the last time you set a world record for anything?

If you or someone you know is interested in endorsing safe boating practices and marketing their business at the same time, please feel free to sign up for a FREE booth/vendor space.

The National Safe Boating Council

The National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) was organized in September 1958 under the name National Safe Boating Committee. Our mission is to be the foremost coalition to advance and promote a safer recreational boating experience through education, outreach and training.

The NSBC presently has a membership of over 330 U.S. and Canadian organizations, all with an interest in boating safety and education. The NSBC membership is diverse, with approximately 65% of the membership being nonprofit organizations and 35% being for-profit organizations.
