Sidney’s Restaurant (open year-round)

BullFrog’s Bar & Grille (open  year-round)

This Southern gastropub combines undeniable charm and delectable culinary delights for a truly memorable dining experience. Take your seat inside under the glow of flickering candlelight and flat-screen TVs or poolside under the stars and near the radiating heat from the fire pit.

Butler’s Pantry (open year-round)

Grab a fresh brewed coffee or espresso, fresh-made pastry, salad or sandwich here.  The Butler’s Pantry at Legacy Lodge is located next to Sidney’s restaurant and offers a full bar selection in the evenings.

This one isn’t really a a sit down restaurant, more of a grab and go for on the lake eating.

Landshark’s (seasonal)

Welcome to the best-kept secret on the lake. This open-air eatery enjoys stunning views and lakeside breezes complemented by the smell of char-grilled burgers and the heavenly taste of nautically-inspired cuisine.

Guests can listen to live music out in the sunshine or by the glow of tiki torches. Lounge by giant outdoor fire pits while sipping refreshing, beach-themed cocktails or catch your favorite sporting event on one of our flat-screen TVs.

Chillzone Restaurants & Bars (seasonal)

Enjoy beachside grill fare and pizzas on the shores of Lake Lanier.  Located on the Lanier Islands beachfront, this beach area features a Tiki bar to relax and unwind during the Summer months.

Gainesville is a short drive from the Southern and Eastern portions of Lake Lanier. Here are some of the top restaurants if you find yourself nearby.

Pelican Pete’s Bar and Grill

Cruise on up to Pelican Pete’s lakeside restaurant and tiki bar by boat or car, and you’re sure to have a good time.

Pelican Pete’s is located at Port Royale Marina in Gainesville and offers a load of American pub fare options.  There’s great food, drinks and fun to be had at Pelican Pete’s Bar and Grill.

Skogies (open year-round)

Located at Gainesville Marina, Skogies offers casual dining with live music on some weekends. Their specialties include grouper sandwiches, slow-smoked pork BBQ, crab cakes and southern fried green tomatoes. Call ahead and they will pick you up at the dock or deliver food to your slip.

Luna’s (open year-round)

Located in Buford, Luna’s specialties cater a bit more to the formal dining side, with steaks, seafood and an excellent top shelf bar.

Luna’s also has a piano lounge, perfect for a upscale “speakeasy” experience. Luna’s also tends to have great seasonal events, including an excellent New Year’s Eve party.

Twisted Oar Restaurant (open year-round)

Enjoy lakeside dining at Holiday Marina’s Twisted Oar Restaurant.  The menu features fresh seafood, savory chicken and steak.   They’ve got inside and outside dining, 10 flat-screen TV’s and a full-bar with over 20 beers on draft.

Fish Tales Lakeside Grill (open daily March through October)

Hideaway Marina’s Fish Tales Lakeside Grill offers lakeside dining year round.  Enjoy classic seafood items, steak and salads.  Favorite menu items are the grouper sandwich, fish tacos and fried grouper fingers.  It’s a family-friendly restaurant, with a sandbox, full bar and live music.

Pig Tales on Lake Lanier  (open daily Spring, Summer and Fall)
