Lake Lanier will receive a lot of rainfall this weekend due to a wild weather system. The storm system is expected to dump several inches of rain in the Lake Lanier basin. Temperatures this week at the lake have bounced all over the thermometer and will continue to bounce as there is a chance of snow on Sunday. Severe weather can affect the areas surrounding the lake through tomorrow so keep your weather radio on. Earlier this week, I talked about Georgia slipping back into a extreme drought, we sure can use the rain!
