Heavy rain recently washed out picnics and the original opening date for the Magical Nights of Lights and Winter Adventure at Lanier Islands, according to Lanier Islands Vice-President of Hospitality Grier Todd and Director of Marketing Cindy Wahl.
Winter Adventure at Lanier Islands now opens on Winter White Friday, November 27th.
“There will be new adventures everywhere you turn! Tall slides with ‘crash bag’ landings and TRIPLE zip lines where riders can race their friends,” explained Cindy Wahl.
Cindy says, “Winter Adventure visitors will enjoy the most prominent new addition of all: the Spectacular Screen! It is 46’x 80’ of high-definition digital awesomeness.”
We’ll see and hear “traditional holiday shorts, family fun, music and Christmas and adventure experiences … to make the LanierWorld beachside theater complete.”
