The spectacular 1,500-acre lakeside resort and entertainment venue on Lake Lanier promises to be even more fabulous.

Safe Harbor now operates the marinas and campgrounds at Lanier Islands.
They will also manage the destination’s special events programming, including the annual Magical Nights of Lights, which just celebrated its 25th anniversary.
A few plans have been revealed for the Islands: all-new RV park, and more wet and dry slips. Cometh by land or sea and bask in the fun and sun at Lanier Islands.

The RV park at Lake Lanier Islands is truly a gem, although in very bad shape, hopefully they infuse new life into a great piece of land that is so close to Atlanta. It could be a real moneymaker with some effort into making the RV sites capable of handling some larger motorhomes. Adding sewer hookups would be wonderful and widening some of the roads to campsites. Seems we are always hitting low branches. We go there at least 2 times a year for the past 5 years, family lives close by, and hopefully it turns into a first class RV Resort.
