Fish Tales Closes for the Winter ~ 11-19-17

The bad news is Fish Tales closes for the winter on Sunday, November 19, 2017.  The good news is they will reopen in time to take your Hunny Bunny there for Valentine’s Day.

The folks at Fish Tales have done their jobs well.  The friendly service, food worth paying for, the scenery and a chance to eat outdoors (and have someone else do the dishes) make this a popular spot on Lake Lanier.

Years ago, I visited White Bear Lake in Minnesota.  The marina there closes just after Labor Day — the same day winter begins to ravage the region.  We are fortunate to live in the Great State of Georgia, where the weather is almost as nice as the folks who enjoy life here.

Although Fish Tales closes the weekend before Thanksgiving, we can be thankful for beautiful weather this final week of the 2017 season.

Nestled beside Hideaway Bay Marina, Fish Tales is a haven of rest and a fun place to feast.

Hunger and my motorcycle drove me there last week.  My server, Giana, served me their famous Fish Tales lunch.  The perfect meal at the perfect place on a perfectly perfect autumn day.

As always, I paid for my meal and left a tip.  No one asked me to write this review or paid me to do so.

Although, I would gladly accept this magnificent work of floating art as remuneration.  (hint, hint)

Don’t let the sun set on summer without dining at Fish Tales one more time.
