The end of summer this year falls on both Saturday, August 12th and on Friday, September 22nd.

Our friends with the Lake Lanier Association (LLA) will host their celebration of the end of summer at their member social on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

It’s the last chance for LLA members to win the raffle of a brand-new Green Egg cooker, until the next time.

We’re happy to announce that Bald Ridge Marina, host to this LLA member social, will continue serving the boating community with wet slips and berths for boats up to 95-feet in length long after the End of Summer Social.

Their fuel dock “is one of the largest and most accessible on the lake, with 90-octane, non-ethanol gasoline, diesel fuel and multiple pump-out stations,” according to their website.

Summer doesn’t officially end (and autumn doesn’t officially begin) until 4:02 PM on Friday, September 22nd — 41 days after this Lake Lanier Association End of Summer Soiree.

August 12th is, however, your last chance this year to hang out with some of the most fun, best tanned, most “everything gonna be awwryeee, mahn” sailors, saints and boaters on the lake.

For music, new friends, $10 BBQ plates, a special “lake-related special proclamation by Senator Butch Miller” and to sign-up for Shore Sweep, don’t let your summer end without attending this party at Bald Ridge Marina from 4 until 8 PM on Saturday, August 12th.
