Lake Lanier Association Summer Social July 15, 2017

Lake Lanier Association Social

Our pals with the Lake Lanier Association (LLA) perform many boring and tedious labors on our behalf.  They rid the lake of scummy old boat wrecks and they pick up enough garbage every year to fill half the sinkholes in Florida.  When their work is done they gather together for events like their Summer Social on July 15th at Twisted Oar at Holiday Marina.

Yes, you’re invited.

No, you don’t have to haul out any sunken ships or break a nail collecting trash from Lanier’s shores.  Unless you want to join other nice folks to help keep Lake Lanier Clean, Full and Safe with the good people of LLA.

Eat, drink and be merry on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 4 PM until 7 or so.  Learn more about your neighbors, LLA and how to win one of those fancy Green Egg cookers (that cost two or three times what I paid for my first car) in a member’s only drawing.

No, you don’t have to own a speedboat, wear a slinky bikini or goofy Captain’s hat, own a giant lake house with so many windows that — like painting the Golden Gate Bridge — by the time you washed them all, it would be time to begin all over again.

Come and be yourself at the Summer Social, with other folks who love Lanier … and a good time.

Lake Lanier Association strives to preserve water quality and quantity for everyone who relies on the lake and its watershed to enhance their quality of life.  LLA members care deeply about preserving this natural resource, and together they are a powerful group of concerned citizens who help create solutions when Lake Lanier water quality and quantity are threatened.
