Gainesville’s 2017 Business Expo on February 16th

The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) invests tremendous effort in bringing new businesses into our area and in helping local merchants find new ways to prosper as they serve their customers.  The 2017 Business Expo — their networking and exhibition event — returns to the Gainesville Civic Center on Thursday, February 16th from 1 PM until 6 PM.  More than 60 companies and organizations will take part.

The 2017 Business Expo is open to the public and admission is free.  Free shuttle service will be provided, in addition to door prizes, drawings and giveaways.  Sorry, Exhibit Space is SOLD OUT!

As the Expo expands and improves, the GHCC has also planned a luncheon with guest speaker Derrick Case, founder of Dress Up.  The special event will be held from noon to 1 PM.  The cost for the luncheon is $15 for Chamber Members and $25 for Non-Members.

Derrick and his wife, Danielle, are founders of the successful Dress Up boutiques. Their story as entrepreneurs begins with an unsatisfying shopping trip to a mall in July 2009 and the desire to open their own store.  They opened the first Dress Up storefront in Dahlonega in August 2009, just five weeks later. Since then, the couple has expanded to 17 stores, in four states, 200+ employees, and a huge online and social media presence.
