What you can see, however, is all the fun you and your family can handle at Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas celebration that runs through December.
You might have missed the Santa Claus parade back on December 1st and the Lighting of the Square. Not a problem. We hear Santa is going to hang around every weekend until Christmas and the lights will still be glowing and blinking bright!
As we all know, the only good thing about Atlanta is you can fly there and be in Dahlonega in about an hour. (Presuming you can make it out unscathed.)
Dahlonega is a world away from big cities and all your cares.
Come and sing Christmas carols, crank a wassail or two, sample some wine, and ho, ho, ho for a few exquisite hours at Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas.
There are 80 or so amazingly cozy shops in historic Dahlonega, far fewer than most overcrowded malls with parking lots that are so dangerous that Chuck Norris won’t go alone.
Have no fear, ladies. Leave your javelin … when you’re travelin’ … to Dahlonega.
