After some negative publicity about increased prices for their 2008 Magical Nights of Lights, the Lake Lanier Islands are reducing their prices for the spring and summer.
The water park at the Islands opens on May 16 and prices are being cut by $10 for seasons passes if purchased before April 30, 2009. A season pass will cost $39.99 rather than $49.99.
The Season Pass offers unlimited access to Chattahoochee Rapids Beach and WaterPark, plus free admission to the Islands any day during the WaterPark season and a 10 percent discount off of regular pricing of merchandise and services Islands-wide through December 30.
