Only one thing could have improved Saturday night’s Taste of Gainesville: $100 bills falling from the sky.

Perfect doesn’t adequately describe the evening.

The combination of fabulous food, the world-renowned Olympic rowing venue on Lake Lanier, glorious weather and scads of fun people … added up to a better-than- perfect night.

Then, everything got better when the band began to play and folks commenced to dancin’.

Whoever (whomever?) came up with this idea deserves a halo.

Do yourself a favor and get tickets early for next year’s Taste of Gainesville sponsored by the Lake Lanier Rowing Club.  My guess is tickets will sell out fast.
